About Miserere
I’ve loved Photography all my life, but only recently was I able to dedicate enough time to it that I could actually progress toward becoming the photographer I want to be. I’m not quite there yet, but at least I’m closer than I was yesterday. I have digital photography to thank for this, but ironically I now find myself shooting some film and lusting over old cameras. Each medium has its idiosyncrasies, and I enjoy them both in different ways. It’s not an either/or for me.
I don’t consider myself a brand snob. Every brand has pros and cons, and it’s just a case of finding the one that best fills your needs. For me, that brand is currently Pentax, which is why I also contribute to Yvon Bourque’s Pentax DSLRs blog on matters sometimes related to Pentax. You can find those articles here.
If you want to see a sample of my photos, you can find some here and here. You can also see some live concert photos here.
I can be reached via e-mail at Enticing.the.Light@gmail.com, and I look forward to any comments or suggestions you may have for me.
I hope you enjoy the site!

I applaud your efforts. I’m pretty much where you are, I think, struggling get to be the photographer I want to be. I have a question (I haven’t looked at the whole site yet, so forgive me if this is answered somewhere): Do you shoot only digital or only film or both? I shoot both, I’m just curious.

Thanks for your visit, Chris! I shoot mainly digital. While I do have some film bodies, I shoot only a little film for fun and nostalgia more than anything else. And also because I can now own some of the SLRs that I never could afford as a teenager 🙂

You did very well, and in my opinion, this is another proof to express how you love photography. You have eye for it and for great artists.
